To me, or to Jameer, the main character of “Yeah, YOU’RE Cool?” I’m telling a 12 part story, done with 9 panels each, so of course the complexities of the supporting female characters aren’t as developed as they would be in a 100+ page book. Even still, both Clara and Raquel had a lot going on for themselves, and if you really read the story, you’d know that the way you’re viewing them is pretty reductive. Also, If your problem is with the idea of a man having a madonna/whore complex, then you’re going to go throughout life having a problem with most men. Because we live in a patriarchal society, heavily influenced by religion, that’s how things are alot of the time, but not all of the time. If you want to change that, then do something more productive than making a judgement on my personal views based on one webcomic. It’d be one thing if you were basing this on an entire canon of my work after 10 years, and even still, that wouldn’t constitute “knowing” me.
